In July, I wrote about tree swings and tree houses, not realizing that my post would attract readers from around the world. My July post included the unique key words, "tree swings for kid." The words did not necessarily appear in that order, but I was still found. Sometimes, people found me with, "Kids swings." (For more information about how "search words" affect my work, please read my September post.)
In my first post I wrote that tree swings are places for adults and children to "connect with nature, as they calculate whether the rope will hold their weight, and whether they will crash into the nearby tree or branch. Tree swings are much more interesting than playground swings."
Sometimes, swings connect people with nature... and sometimes, nature connects with swings. I have combined a few normal tree swing photos with unconventional playground tree swing photos. Fortunately, nobody was hurt when the large tree fell at Redwood Park.
