This was my response to my friend Chad Barth's two word message that disrupted my plans today. As a person who has lived with epilepsy for more than two decades, I have learned how to juggle life and plans. Usually the disruptions depress me, but lately, most of disruptions have led to something wonderful.
Like today when Chad wrote, "Winner, Winner." So, I replied, Chicken Dinner.
And off we go.
Theo Lambert from Eventbrite Management contacted me for permission to use more of my photos, and within minutes my Trailer Choir photos were on the Eventbrite site with a link to my Photoshelter gallery. (Some of you have seen variations of this gallery before, but I thought I would repost.) My gallery is just below. And, if you want to see the larger images, go to the blue link... or go to Theo's article. The link is further down my post.
The last few months have been wonderful, and the story is too long to tell now. I probably have not processed all of it. But the short version is this. I started letting people support me. And, now I am also able to use my energy to recognize those who support people like me and others who need support too, perhaps some people who need it more. I have found allies: I have found my own strength and voice.
I would not be where I am without the support of many people. The list is long. Chad is definitely on the list, and I am guessing that many of my readers are too.
Please read Theo's article and check out Eventbrite.
