As Steven's book publisher, accept my thanks for this great post. Steven is truly amazing and a real wordsmith. Not only does he have refreshingly insightful POVs, but he presents them on the page so lyrically, forcefully, logically, or empathetically, as the subject demands.

I like your description of Steven being forceful and empathetic. Some people might see this as a contradiction, but they are probably complimentary traits. There are some people who will only be emphathetic to people who share their own values and belief systems. Steven is more forceful and purposeful than someone who chooses to limit their empathy.
