I am ready for a break from my writing project. I have learned a lot. I am grateful to those who have given their time to me and others.
I am exhausted.
Some people communicate easily by writing. They think and then they write. Some of us do not process information the same way. Not that this is an excuse for me to quit writing. I must practice more. But I prefer to talk and to make pictures.
Each of the last three Springs, I have photographed my children in the same urban meadow. (I wrote about our trip last year too; I visited a separte time with my daughter.) The mustard flower field is somewhere in Walnut Creek, California. Walnut Creek is part of the East Bay about twenty minutes from my house.
This visit started well. Our visit inluded an unplanned trip to the emergency drop-in hours at East Bay Pediatrics. My daughter received a stitch for each year we have visited the meadow. Usually, I photograph visits, this time, I left my camera in the trunk. The photos below are mostly from our meadow visit.
